Director of Strategic Planning
As Director of Strategic Planning for HelioSage Energy, Chris is responsible for establishing the company's national project development strategy. Managing a research team focused on an in-depth analysis of the various regulatory, financial, and technical factors that create a viable solar market or solar project, Chris provides guidance and strategic direction regarding the deployment of HelioSage personnel across specific states, programs, service territories, and calendar intervals. He is also responsible for leading the firm's direct development activity with utility off-takers. To date, the campaigns he has helped oversee have resulted in over 150 megawatts of solar power purchase agreements executed with various utilities nationwide.
Prior to joining HelioSage, Chris worked in research and content management for SNL Financial’s Energy Group, with a focus on natural gas and LNG assets, and prior to that as a financial analyst for Gallatin & Company in New York. Chris holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
