Scott has 15 years of experience in the energy industry primarily with utility-scale photovoltaic and concentrating solar power in thermal applications. Scott’s experience includes working for a major utility, implementing solar programs, and as a construction professional building solar plants. Scott brings knowledge in design, construction and operation of a variety of solar technologies. He has also developed a utility distributed generation program for Arizona Public Service, led technical PPA negotiations and assisted with utility regulatory filings.
In Scott’s current position, he leads the Renewable Energy business for McCarthy Building Companies, a $3 billion a year construction firm.
He holds a Master’s degree in construction management from the Arizona State University Del E. Webb School of Construction and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University.
