Consists of regulated investor owned electric companies serving Retail customers municipally owned systems, public power districts, irrigation and water districts, and rural cooperatives.

Generation and Transmission Entities (Category 2)

Generation and Transmission Entities (Category 2) Consists of Generation & Transmission Cooperatives, Regional Transmission Organizations, Joint Action Agencies, Federal Power Authorities, and Wholesale Marketers (operating in Non-competitive environment)

Consists of (a) Independent Power Producers- entities that are not public utilities, but that own facilities to generate electric power for sale to utilities and end users, and (b) Wholesale Markets operating in a Competitive environment; generation companies in the business of owning and contracting electric generating facilities, wholesale energy marketing operations and retail sales operations.

Consists of companies engaged in the manufacturing of physical goods related to the solar industry such as PV Cell/Module Manufacturers, Balance of System Manufacturers and Component Manufacturers.

Project Developer/Installer/Distributor/Integrator (Category 5)

Consists of project developers, solar project integrators, solar panel installers and contractors in the solar industry, EPC contractors, and suppliers and distributors of solar products.
