Research
Members can call us at any time with quick or more in-depth questions related to solar energy, and you can place a quantifiable value on the amount of time SEPA saves you on internal research to find the answers.  We estimate it would take 5-10 hours of internal employee research for every 1 hour spent by SEPA, considering our depth and breadth of relationships and access to information.

SEPA's research reports are also always free to members. Similar reports from for-profit entities often range from $3,000 to $5,000 per report.

Education
SEPA offers a significant number of educational forums throughout the year.  Members who participate in SEPA events save money with registration discounts.  You only need a few of your company's employees to participate in one or more SEPA events each year for the savings to exceed the cost of your membership dues.  Savings include:

• Free participation on monthly webinars ($125 savings per employee per month)
• Discounted participation in conferences and workshops ($100 - $400 savings per employee per event)

Interaction & Outreach
Utility members of SEPA have free access to one-on-one support from our Regional Directors, who are available to meet with you in person at your office.  The going rate of consultants that provide the type of information and service offered to SEPA members is approximately $300 per hour, which adds up quickly. SEPA's annual dues are minimal compared to these fees and you receive continued unlimited support year round. Utilize the services of our Regional Directors for just a few hours a year and you've already received an excellent value for your money.
