SEPA hosts regional workshops around the country bringing together electric utilities and the solar industry to discuss topics concerning regional and state issues. The regional workshops are facilitated by SEPA's regional directors and are scheduled based on the various topic needs in the different regions. There are currently no regional workshops scheduled at this time. Past Workshops April 2009 - Tennessee In April 2009, SEPA held it's first regional workshop in
Knoxville, TN. More than 125 people representing electric
utilities, solar companies, research groups, and government
agencies came together to discuss low cost solar options for the
Central and Southeastern U.S. In May 2009, SEPA gathered electric utilities that service Florida and solar advocates with an interest in Florida to talk about future collaboration to build the state's solar markets.
