Building a Solar Smart Utility

Building a Solar Smart Utility is the theme for USC 2014. The program will offer in-depth learning in three distinct tracks: Customer Smart; Program Smart; and Technology Smart. Customer Smart sessions will help you understand how solar is changing customer expectations, and options for turning solar into a utility asset, leading to higher customer satisfaction and retention. Technology Smart Sessions will address the rise of distributed solar and how it is challenging utilities to get ahead of the growth through the addition of new engineering and operational tools and technologies. The Program Smart track will discuss the growth of affordable solar and how it is pushing utilities to rethink solar as a resource, redesign staff structures, and launch new programs.
