Utility Solar Interest Groups The Solar Electric Power Association's newly formed Utility Solar Interest Groups (USIG) provide utility members with forums to: • Exchange information and ideas • Get updates on emerging issues • Identify utility and solar industry concerns; examine potential solutions • Assist or lead in development of best practices, standards, or processes • Develop peer-to-peer relationships • Access national and international research and information forums • Provide feedback and strategic direction to SEPA research and education initiatives
• Business Models - innovative program and projects that provide utility value streams
Each USIG sets its own schedule and agenda on a consensus basis, and uses online tools so that participants can easily contact each other, share meeting summaries and other documents, and post announcements.
• Participate in one or more group directly • Refer a utility colleague to a USIG related to their job area
